Still haven’t watched the Patriots game yet. Knew what the outcome would be, final score was lower than I thought, but proportional. A lot of shake-up in the coaching staff this year, so it could be bumpy.

Defense should be pretty solid, but the front seven will need to apply a ton of pressure on passing downs with the lack of a top-end CB.

Offense a bigger question mark. I like Mac Jones a lot, but he’s not the kind of guy who’s going to burn you for 400 yds and 5 TDs. The WR corps is slightly improved but still lackluster. I’d be trying to get OBJ off the street. Shit, I’d bring back crazy ass Antonio Brown lmfao.

I always believe in Bill Belichick as a coach though, and I think he’ll get 8-9 out of these guys, which is good, because it’s probably a 4-13 roster and staff. I still have to watch the game and get a better sense, though, really.

Biggest thing is you’re playing for a wildcard spot because Buffalo is a fucking WAGON. Buffalo finally has their stud QB they’ve been searching for since Jim Kelly (maybe Bledsoe back in the early 00s), and it’s just hard to imagine the Patriots winning the AFC East any time in the foreseeable future. And now Miami looks like it’s getting better, so the Pats could be looking at a third place finish.

The good news is, I’m fat, happy, and complacent after all the winning I just lived through the last two decades. Of course I’d rather the Pats be awesome, but honestly, it gets emotionally exhausting being “championship or bust” every single year, because usually you bust, even the Pats winning six times, they still busted more than that, and it ripped my guts out every time (except the second Giants Super Bowl, I knew that was a horrible matchup from the second New York beat the 49ers, so I had pre-processed a loss before the game was even played, haha).

So now I’m kind of enjoying the rebuilding process, hopefully seeing young guys improve into good players and just get back to being competitive. I play my own sports, I worry about that more, it seems silly to live and die by the Pats like I used to. Just take it for what it is. This is all part of being a true fan, showing up rain or shine. I was here before all the winning, I’m here after it, just waiting for the next time they can win one. But I won’t be mad if the Bills finally win a Super Bowl this year. Lord knows those fans out there deserve it.

There is so many storylines going on with players bring traded going against there former team, The GOAT Tom Brady playing one more season and there always a surprise team. Last week my team , Chicago Bears upset the 49ers on a soaked and flooded field. I am so hyped this Sunday when they play there arch rivals the Packers in prime time and they got a chance to finally beat Aaron Rodgers in his stadium.

Well I’m glad that the Miami Dolphins 🐬 🏈 defeated the New England Patriots that was a nice sweet victory, they have a tougher game this Sunday playing the Baltimore ravens in Baltimore I just hope that they can play well and win and stay healthy and make the playoffs, it’s been a long time
