What did you think of the Smackdown segment with Roman Reigns and The Rock with Cody gave up his spot to Rock?

Cody Rhodes who is the winner of the 2024 Men’s Royal Rumble match; tonight on Smackdown to make a decision to who he would face in the main event of WrestleMania 40 either the Undisputed Universal Champion Roman Reigns or World Heavyweight Champion Seth Rollins.

Then cuts a promo with Roman in the ring and says he would face Roman but not at Mania, then gave The Rock his spot to face him at Mania:

Rock v Roman is a huge money match that is fitting of Wrestlemania's 40th anniversary. I know it's gotta suck to be Cody but he's got to have guarantees to be the guy that beats Roman once he passes Hogan.

The Rock might actually come back to take on Reign's and make his title to be vacant between two people, which could be Rhodes and CM Punk. I don't see Rock coming back to be champion, but it would be nice. You know he did sign a contract back with the WWE and I caught that I believe on Smackdown or Raw but like I said Reigns is overdue to take a long break from being a champion also one with money in the bank might cash his in so who knows?

I think Cody would be a more popular champion. Nobody actually likes Roman Reigns or takes him seriously at all. He doesn’t actually draw money. No idea why they have kept him as champion this long.

Well they let him hold the title for the past 1,000 days and has the rock come back to face him for Mania 40

People will only watch that to see The Rock. And the match will probably suck because The Rock is past it now.

That last part was a bit super dramatic.. LOL.. But it seems like the Cody guy got robbed, and he let the Rock do it.. I guess the Rock can't stay away from his first love..

People are upset on social media Rock just come in and get put in the main event while Cody busted his ass for 2 years on end to win the rumble twice in a year row and go to mania to face Roman the second time to finally defeat him for the belts. They think rock vs Roman don’t need the title involved, it could be a battle for the tribal chief throne.

Lol right tho, but obviously not for the cause but they supposed to have this for the WrestleMania 40 kickoff press event in Las Vegas for Thursday and it’s a bigger money match that’ll needed to happen now or never with Roman vs rock. It’s all business

I can imagine.. Dwayne Johnson being the The Rock again is a huge draw in of itself, stepping into the ring after all these years.. I wonder why he did it though, it's not like he needs the money.. But yeah you're right, it'll make them big money..
