And honestly , now with the value of these machines now , design and speed , without wishing death on anyone young , its not as edgy , because a lot of the danger has been removed , I can accept the skill , and the value of that car , but there is now virtually no element of death , and these guys are paid obscene amounts of money.

I knew a guy here in Thailand , he lives in Isaan and has a kid here , he was a mechanic for one of the teams , it was a really great job , well paid all year in Euroes , and he lives in the Cheapest part of Thailand.

Sounds Morbid , but I'd like to see more danger back.

My boyfriend loves it. I try to pay a little bit of attention, but admittedly I just like when people crash. He hasn't watched as much since his favorite driver retired a few years ago and also he says it's boring now because one person always wins.

Not really. I prefer NASCAR. F1 races have the pole sitter win too often. If you're not in the first 2 rows, you have little chance of winning. In NASCAR, on the other hand, virtually anyone can win (and has won) the race, regardless of their starting position.

Now it's Verstappen. Constant changes.

I was back until Senna was killed. My first girlfriend's dad was an F1 mechanic at the time and she got me hooked. After Hill won and then couldn't get a competitive drive next year I stopped watching.

Yes and was Schumacher fan as i was a teen when he was at his prime. Hate what they have to the sport now though with DRS, deliberate degrading tyres, the sprint race, ugly cars and too many points.

A small amount, I only care for BWT/BP/Castrol pink cars until they aren't ever pink no more or whatever or perhaps Castrol/BP jumps ship 🚢⚓ I like pink cars, something different, or purple 🟣
