You left out the Caitlin Clark affect. She almost tripled her team's fan base attendance this year. Caitlin Clark tripled her arena's attendance this year.

Even if she wasn't the clearcut winner (not taking anything away Angel Reese). I would still give it to Caitlin before it's just a smart business move. And like it or not you're building a business. One that up to this point has been largely subsidized by the NBA. The WNBA needs to continue to seize on the Caitlin phenomena and continue to promote her. Heap as much on to her shoulders and see how far she can take them. This is how the NBA was built. And a hero is only good as her nemesis. It wouldn't be wrong to give it to Angel either. She's a beast on the glass. By giving it to her you're going to create talk. The same talk that came from the people who questioned her being left off the Olympic team. It would be setting up a bird-magic-esque rivalry. One from my hometown of mid-west Des Moines Iowa (naturally i'm a little biased) the other from Maryland. Either ways the NBA future is bright with these two.
