The head coach in high school wanted me to play football because I was stronger than every player on their team. I didn't do it though. I was more interested in gaming and didn't want extracurricular activities to take up my time. Other than required PE classes, I didn't play sports on a team in school. I occasionally played for fun with friends (some were the varsity starters) and I could outdo them without even being trained, but I preferred gaming. I did take martial arts classes in high school though.

I wish I would have played soccer, but I wasn't interested in that until I was in my late 30s. Now where I live they don't have any kinds of sports teams for adults otherwise I would like to play something now.
