Soccer players are known to be attracted by money, just like many other sports people. It does not matter whether the country in which they play is politically unstable, whether the climate is not optimal or for any other reason. I do consider that fact that people will go basically anywhere just for money like a kind of prostitution.

If the soccer team in Turkey was able to offer a better financial deal than what another team in Azerbaijan, Mongolia, Uruguay or Zimbabwe can offer, then let him take that deal. He is the only one that will have to suffer from it, besides his family of course if that country is restricting freedom.
