I personally find golf is a pretentious and bougie sport. It does take skill. I sure as hell can't hit a golf ball that well, but it doesn't require a ton of athleticism and is extremely boring to watch. It's also not accessible for a lot of people, so not everyone has the means to train for it. Back when I used to play competitive soccer (where I traveled to play), golf was used as an insult. "Go play golf!" people always used to say.

In my opinion, golf is just used for people in business to socialize and to show off that you live in that kind class. It's really not for my vibe.

Mini Golf can be fun. I never tried the other one but it doesn't look like it's too much of a good time and you never see anyone laughing there.

Golf is not a sport. It is an activity like playing darts only it is done outdoors. Riding around in a little cart and hitting a ball with a stick is not a sport it is more of a skill.

#5) You hit a ball with a stick in baseball, cricket and field hockey, and those are "sports".

Baseball players who play golf have often commented that they can hit something coming at them going 90 miles and hour, but hitting that stationary little ball and directing where you want it to go is a REAL challenge. Obviously, you've never done it.

As to difficulty, the odds of a college athlete being drafted by the NBA is 1.2%, the NFL is 1.6%, baseball is 9%, and the NHL is a whopping 11%. That's just being drafted, that's not making a team. The odds of becoming a pro golfer? Less than 1 %.
