Ever see the Marix?
How do we know this reality is even real?
As simulations get better and better, we will eventually reach a point where simulation and reality are indistinguishable.
So that we could simulate a galaxy like our own in a 1 billion petabyte megacomputer for 'fun' in the far future.
We could literally be a game on some extremely advanced super people's gaming pc.
And if that is possible, who says it hasn't already happened?
Millions of times over...

Definitely the virtual world.

It is easy to remove all this violence and the people that endorse those useless war games games. Just pull the plug on them.

Also, girls would finally not be sexually harassed day in and day out, murdering and raping would be banned and sex a thing of the past.

Now that would be a dream world, but alas only a dream. The nightmare of real life continues...

real world. too much technology makes me anxious and depressed. I like to go out, stare up at the sky, feed squirrels, chipmunks, and birds. can't do that with virtual "reality." I mean, you could, but where's the fun in feeding a computer generated animal and staring at fake trees? internet is only for after I've spent about 7 hours outside.

Virtual it's a breakaway from life where almost everything can be temporarily perfect, it can therapeutic I often use Minecraft or Borderlands as a way of recouping or releasing built up frustration.

I do however also like the real world, I just need to escape it every now and again.

I love my family and girlfriend, but I would definitely choose virtual reality with my only hesitation being that I would leave my loved ones behind. Reality has beautiful scenery and happy times, but I feel like those times don't come often enough. It's filled with fake people, financial issues among other problems. In virtual reality you have beautiful scenery mixed with fantasy concepts, dragons and mythical creatures we can only imagine and dream of in reality. It adds more colour to the world. I was talking to my girlfriend about it and if someone gave me the chance to upload my conscience into a virtual reality, I would definitely do it. It would become my new reality and I would not look back. A step up from this scenario would be if my family and partner would also be uploaded into the new world with me. It would also be great because it also means we could be eternal.

It's come very late in life but the way things have changed for me, the response and success I recieve with casual flirting in person, I am much happier with the real world. The more I do it with success, the more confidence I keep gaining.

Remember: I am married. I am not looking for hookups or relationships, but just to be able to get into a good conversation and to be able to get that flirty response in return and then that person remembering me next time works wonder with my ego and self esteem.

A lot of it has to do with the fact that I live in a Latino dominated location and Latinas are far more warm and receptive to such moves.

On the web, nobody knows me. I stay Anon. I am so sure that people have a very different image of me than reality.

The virtual world is one where I can experience many different things, and if I could quite literally be sucked into the virtual world (like VR but full-dive) I would live out my fantasies.

Drifting along mountainside roads without fear of death, exploring the worlds of my favorite shows and games like some sort of Isekai protagonist, and maybe create a whole virtual world in my image.

(and also maybe experience some hentai stuff but that's a personal thing)

The real world is just a chore, where're you're just another 1 out of several million people trying to get by in an area where you have minimal importance, impact or ways to survive/thrive.

Definitely the real world but the virtual world is a nice place holder for the real one when the real one is broken. Sometimes things just all fall apart and it’s nice to fall back on the virtual for some period while the real world gets fixed.

Besides video games, I believe in experiencing everything in real life. Watching someone stream or meeting people online is not the same as meeting someone in person or experiencing things yourself. I would gladly talk or play video games online with random people in all friendly manners, but I would not make friends with them or consider them as friends.

what if I where to tell y'all I've been living in the virtual world for a while like most of my life I've chosen too video games rather than play outside or socialize. Like I'd get he from school do my homework & chores then the rest of the night me on my console & in summertime I would stayed glued to tv. I would visit reality to eat, shower, bathroom breaks,& sleep.

Now it's like I live in reality & vist the virtual world.
