I think I used to use a kid and teen-oriented one every once in awhile way back when, but never really got into them.

I was bored and lonely one night a few years ago and decided to try a chat room again and just clicked on the first Google result for "chat rooms", and it was full of pervs, what I assumed to be cops pretending to be underage girls, and trolls. Lots of trolling and hurling insults going on, too. I found it to be very uninteresting and have never really had any desire to try it again.

It's hard to use them now they're all dead. IRC was my go to chat room in the 90's but now it's empty , thousands of channels and all empty and abandon.

not for a long time i remmber useing america online in the late 1990's they had fun chat rooms at the time i miss america online it was a lot of fun
