I've been banned by Tandem. How can I register again?

When I first registered, I only had to wait a few hours before an invitation. I didn't realize how lucky I was once I got banned and can't register and there aren't any alternative apps of equal quality. Speaky and HelloTalk are so much inferior to Tandem. I like the Tinder-esque looks of this app.

Anyway, I tried to registered with a different email, name and everything but surprisingly they know it was me!

Here I am just trying again, this time I changed my IP and use VPN while registering, new email etc. But still no approval.

Anyone has great tips on this?

If changing IP and everything can't get you to cheat their system, your last approach probably is to change devices.

-Clear your browser's cookies and history.

-Change the MAC address of your router - google search is a friend on how to do this.

-If it does not work, get a new laptop and/or router - which has new MAC address and try. I doubt it will work, but if you really want, you can try. If this does not work, then I have no more ideas.

However, if you log back using any of the devices you used before, they may trace you and ban you again.

Or just respect their judgment, like an adult. You are 30ish.

Don’t use a VPN. Change your router IP address and clone your routers MAC address. After that change your devices MAC address.

You don’t have to be... settings for it should be in your routers admin panel when you login to it on the web. And there are apps to change your MAC address mobile. If you’re on PC you can change it from device manager on some NICs or edit it from your registry.

Just do what I said. Most sites now can detect VPNs when you sign up. When you change your routers IP you won’t have to worry about changing your devices IP.

Stop going on that site. Period. Learn to respect their chocues and go elsewhere. What you're doing is basically illegal and I kind of see why they probably did ban you. You obviously are not there for the right reasons. Why would you just been off of a site if you done nothing wrong?

Because it's clear you don't understand the meaning of the word respect. It's their site they are free to do what they please. And again, obviously you did things you weren't suppose to do, or file a complaint with the site. There is no need to go this far.

From what I had looked at, I get the strong feeling that you were not there to just simply "learn a language and have a language partner". Sounds like you were on there for less than family friendly means. Because if you're there to try to pick up chicks or to have sexually explicit things on it, then yes, you don't need to be on those sites.

You cannot just register again. Or do you not understand the main point of the answer? Because of you was so innocent why the hell do they have to ban you? If nobody knows the exact reasons why and you're asking how to change your IP address and everything else then yes you are doing something wrong. This is not the site for it to be asking those things.

And I told yoU BEFORE. If you know what you are doing, don't ask silly questions when you know the answer. You cannot register again. They know who is who even without you knowing it. Everything about you, your patterns, etc they KNOW. So asking this isn't going to help you at all. You will just get caught again and next time, god forbid is feds at your door. Not kidding. They are obligated to report suspicious activity to enforcement. You never said why you got banned yet you're asking what to do against the policy and safety of others. You KNOW how to register again. And that's by following the rules. They don't just ban you and there is no logical reason. I'm sure had warnings before about it. That app have high ratings. So potential biases aren't the reason.

You're telling me bye, but I think you pretty much answered your own question. Banned for misconduct because somebody or multiple people reported you.

According to that since you said you've been banned your not allowed on there for 18 months.

"In order to keep Tandem a safe place for language learners, we take violations of our community rules very seriously. Therefore, we retain anonymous personal identities of banned users for 18 months and might prevent access to the community on this basis during this period." If you read it it could have been avoided.

try using different device? like if you are using computer clearly they have your ip address, they can track phone ip as well. thats why they probably have one of those numbers on block list that automatically comes up on their end as banned or blocked etc
