It greatly depends on what games you play.
often the best way is to spend more on a rig that last 10 years than one you need to replace or upgrade at 4 years.
Graphics cards are the big spends.
then of course, Cheap is relative

As I said it depends on what games you play, what monitor you have, 1080p 1440p etc
The monitor and graphics card are a matched pair.
If you do flight Sims you need 32GB memory.
If not 16GB is fine
AMD kick Intel in to touch at moment.
Storage, it’s worth getting an NVME for OS and either another NVME or an SSD, but if documents, photos etc, the hard drive
Set your budget.
Priotize on functions not looks, don't spend money on all the fancy lights and see through casings.
Priotize on Mainboard and GPU, CPU usually doesn't matter too much for gaming, RAM can be upgraded easily latter on.
Look at pre built complete PCs, and upgrade them later.
With GPUs used for Bitcoin mining their prices may be higher when bought seperately, so you may save some money when buying a pre built pc.

With the prices graphics cards are going for right now, the only budget option is to go with a pre-built machine.
There's like 500 channels on youtube who do videos about this. Too many tbh.
That's an oxymoron. Like asking for a "cheap Ferrari"
