s Well, I'm not from the US or Canada but I guess it's not illegal. Most likely your emails will be deleted and you won't get any reply.
Spam mail is legal in the U. S. You can send it, but you must include your company address in the email. There are other requirements for recurring emails, but as a one-time thing, you'll be fine.
I've got no idea, because I don't live in North America, and I'm wondering why I was invited to answer this question.
