For most its not a choice between the two due to the operating systems. I am PC/Android and feel Apple builds better hardware, but I prefer Android software. Samsung has had and continues increase in problems. My biggest is their complete lack in maintaining devices past 12 months!

I have a few Samsung TVs and my wife has a Samsung phone. They have been good. I have an iPad. It is challenging sometimes.

Tech levels are exactly the same. Customer service almost the same. Desire to make us buy the latest tech phone identical.

Lets face it, we are all sheep, but we have to have mobile phones. So every year these tech giants pump out new models, and we have to buy them, as they don't supoort update the old phones.

Really the situation sucks.
