I am an android user.
But anyone with a bit of a technical knowledge knows that the megapixels is not everything. Sensors and processing plays a major role in the processing of an image.
I am a hardcore Android user, and I know that smartphones were never supposed to be about hardware, but they were supposed about software. That is what RISC architecture is used for.
Even Sony's event shooting cameras have less megapixels like 8.1 or something megapixels. But then also those cameras produce industry revolutionary images. Its all about the processing and the sensors used, and not only about the megapixels.
If you have a work with videos only, iPhone is the best for you, even Samsung is good. But iPhone is a brand for videos, Samsung is a brand for overall phones, which according to me is better. But still people go for iPhones.

because buying a product for objective factors is a thing of the past. people buy stuff for how it makes them feel. that's why pretty much all advertisements for stuff aren't trying to sell you any technology anymore. they are selling you a moment to think of. a situation. and a feeling to associate with that. so more realistic, down to earth people buy android. and fuzzy emotional artsy people buy apple.
don't believe me? go to any arts lecture and try to find a student that has not an apple on the back of their laptop.
I can give an enormous list of reasons why I detest my android work phones through the years. Every problem I’m had with my personal iphone I can count on one hand, and always resolve themselves with fixes within three days.
I just like the exterior look of the iphone (not the ones with 3 cam lense on the back tho). But i agree that iphone camera quality is kinda shitty

The Apple vs Android argument could go on, and on, and on, and... you get the idea.
I have a fairly new iPhone that I do use as a 'quick-n-dirty' camera for when I am out and about but if I want to get serious I use my DSLR instead. Megapixels aren't everything and in my experience a good quality DSLR will outshine a phone camera every time.
Android is so over complicated, so many variations, so much 'bloatware', I just can't be bothered with it. I work in IT support and those 'techie' people who insist on an Android device always have the most issues.I'm gonna tell you a little secret about megapixils, more isn't necessarily better. And the fact that iPhone have less is a big part of why they do so much better in low light than Android.
Don't get me wrong, I've been Droid my whole life but especially with the new technology Apple is using, it's gonna be a while before any Android catches up to their new AI camera system. It's insanely advanced.I used an android for a while because I didn't want to be an Apple fanboy. I couldn't stand it. Android's are years behind iPhones as far as integration with other devices. Simple tasks are often more difficult.
The megapixel counts are only a small part of what makes a good camera. The lenses matter. So does the post-processing of the sensor data. Apple crushes it. iPhones just take better pictures.I use Apple products.
security, ease of use, IOS eco sphere, Apple Store, Apple Music,
the MP on cameras with mobiles is often a bit smoke and mirrors.
Android covers a huge raft of mobiles, some are good, however some are really poor hardware and integration.
Also things like Apple Car Play is better than Android Auto.Initially I considered Android more versatile. I was happy with Android and kept buying Android. Now I getting feed up with Google and thinking about getting an iphone. The camera on the iphone is sufficient for me. I have a digital camera for high resolution photos along with several lenses.
I use iPhone as well as the iPad. I have come to like iOS and simply prefer it. I do have an old android phone but it is sitting in storage with no sim card. As far as a camera I don't use my phone much for critical photography. For that, I use a Canon Eos Rebel. On a job site, I have been known to take several hundred photos.
i despise android i've had nothing but software problem and hardware problems one after another with this crap garbage technology. current phone is the s21 and almost everyday i feel like smashing it to the ground or taking a hammer to it and smashing it to pieces. the only reason i keep this hunk of shit phone is to do file transfers back and forth between my computer and this hunk of shit phone to upload photos and documents and other information online through online storage cloud servers
I have an iPhone for the aesthetic of having an iPhone. Just being honest. lol
I know that Samsungs are better these days, but iPhones work just fine for meIt's a social status dilemma, a lot of people have this. " The need to belong mentality. "
People make arguments that are down right stupid. It's a phone. That's it. It doesn't make you smart nor attractive. The security. iPhones/iOS are close to an impenetrable fortress.
Iphone has a better virtual keyboard and offers smaller phones that are more suited to those with an active lifestyle
also apple ecosystem is pre sexy, airdrop is awesome. If u work on a mac the iphone makes shit convenientIPhone are for those that are less technically skilled and enjoy things like Apple telling you that you're not allowed to repair your electronics.
Because people are dumb. They're all the same at the end of the day. Literally made by the same people in the same factory
I have an android simply to defy the crowd. I always do the opposite thing everyone else does.
People need validation from society so they choose apple
I just prefer the Android OS plus it's a whole lot cheaper than an Iphone.
IPhone is made from better quality materials as compared to android
You don't get the Apple store on Android, kiddo.
I agree with you, Androids are so much better
