in theory, yes... humans could possibly survive such high speeds, as long as the speed is constant and it goes in one direction... I think astronauts already travel at 40k kms per hour without an issue

the problem though, would be acceleration... acceleration creates G'forces, so even if you travel at just 50 miles per hour, but you accelerate then stop very quickly, you could experience G'forces up to 80g's... and those can completely mess up your body

so... as long as you have a very good plan to fire up and also stop that space ship, you could survive crazy ass speeds

or maybe not... maybe you will end as a big blob of plasma... because of the temperatures

Nope. Hence the need to either have a wormhole style method of travel or something akin to time warp.

The problem is not speed, but the G forces of acceleration and deceleration. You feel it in a car when you have to break suddenly or pickup speed quickly. Imagine that magnified to 100s and 1000s. The body cannot cope and become paralysed.

So long as they stay inside the ship and the ship remains at constant velocity, that shouldn't be a problem. Per Einstein's theory of relativity, although the ship is going half the speed of light, persons inside the ship are travelling at zero velocity, relative to the ship.

It's very much like riding in an airplane. The plane goes 600 miles per hour (1000 kph) but people in the plane feel no speed.
