You can now quietly exit Whatsapp Groups. Do you think this was an expected update?

When you left a Whatsapp group, other group members could see your action in the messages section, before. However with the new Whatsapp update, you may now quietly leave the groups. What do you think of this update?

Thank you for telling me, I had a few groups in which I'm with some people I genuinely hate, I don't know why though I never exited, I'd want to do it then I'm like nahhh, probably because I don't want them to think that I care, so yea now I can do that without making it clear

I think it’s a quite useful upgrade. I don’t think I’ll never have need to use that since usually I give notice of my exit from a group and I never needed a silent exit but I can easily imagine there’s plenty of occasions for a needed silent exit.

I wasn't aware of this update but it sounds great to me. I was once in a group where people who left were spoke badly. So it's nice to leave without others knowing.

Explain what you mean other group members could se your action in the message section before. I don't see a difference between now and before the update.

Probably, WhatsApp knew that people would find it a nuisance eventually especially in larger groups. So they just decided to role it out at the right moment.
