Where to advertise my free VPN app?

Yeah, not really a typical question here but it's worth a shot. So I've been studying development for a long time and launched my first app recently. It's a free vpn app with a premium version available.

I'm trying to improve my rankings on Google play by getting more reviews and ratings and just generally more users. Anyone have any recommendations on good places to try getting it exposed?

You already there, you have to invest in marketing and strategy, make the premium version free for now with no ads, make sure the VPN is fast, working for sure (secure) and user friendly, respond timely to queries, debug to make sure it works in most devices and android versions, promote it on Google play ads, and when most popular and stable - monetize.

I was considering not having adverts initially but i feel like the moment i add adverts in later and remove features to put into premium. It'll annoy a lot of users and result in bad reviews which I'm trying to avoid.

So far, i think my vpn is amongst the fastest, I'm getting faster speeds than nord and express and secure. I'm happy to listen to user feedback though for sure
