How to disable forced hibernation when battery low in Windows 10?

I've pinpointed that as the root cause to my wireless gaming mouse disconnecting randomly like crazy. Yes, I've already made sure that selective suspending, power management, and fast startup are all disabled, while ensuring interference from other frequencies and devices are accounted for, along with having my BIOS up to date and testing all my USB ports. Afaik there's only a way to disable hibernation when the laptop is inactive for some time, or when you press the power button or close the lid.

I managed to change the critical battery action from hibernate to sleep, so now it should never hibernate ever again (also disabled it via command prompt)

Good that you found the power setting for this. You really need to change your charging habits. Leaving on sleep until the battery goes to critical levels is going to destroy your battery. Letting the battery go below 20% shortens is useful life.

Going near zero is really bad. You’ll get way less charge cycles before capacity drops. If you do this often.

If you leave it off the charger frequently for extended periods. Shutdown the computer at the end of the day.

Well according to HWInfo and after having my laptop for 3 years, the battery is only permanently drained by 32%

That's really bad for the age of the device. Outside of a really heavy user with 1,000 charge cycles withing that time period. Most laptops should be around the 85-90% mark by that age. For remaining capacity.

Typically, 80% remaining capacity is when one starts to consider a battery replacement. Although finding good OEM batteries can be difficult. There's a lot of knockoff batteries that are absolute junk.

The settings are in the Power applet in Control Panel. Click on change power plan and set everything the "Never".
