Why do you watch TV? Am I missing out on anything?

TV has never been important to my family. Our village had one and we all gathered to watch…I can’t recall what I watched.
As a teen, I watched some cartoons and some sitcoms for a few years.
Other than that…tv was never been that interesting.
I haven’t had one for over 10-20 years.
What did I miss?

I grew up with a TV and started watching with my father. I watched every sitcom in the 70's and 80's. Football.

Every day from school, I'd come home and plunk down on our worn out chair to watch the series of shows I loved... Brady Bunch, Batman and Robin, Gilligans Island, and others. Homework... I don't recall doing much homework.

It really is a life suck and wastes time. Other kids were out playing sports and engaging in life and I was watching some false representation of it.

I'm glad you have no TV, nor do I want one.:)

I watched a lot of TV in my life. But I haven't had access to TV channels for over 20 years by choice, ever since we moved into our home.

I think TV is not only a huge waste of time, it's also toxic. It's all social engineering and propaganda. It makes people stupid.

We have a nice TV, but all we use it for is watching movies together. We watch an average of two per week.

I watch TV, for the news and some old programs like the Munter's and that's about it.
