For your initial reply, there's buttons for pictures/images, videos, or links. Those are the best to use. Same in the app (at least for Android).

@oatmealmuffin and @Jessica405 have great answers too.

And, finally, if you have an image that's just out on the web, right click it, and select "copy image address" and then paste that in the REPLY to your original opinion (or reply to anyone else's opinion) and the system will take it in and display the image.

As far as I know, that only works on a computer. It seems like most people don't have computers anymore.

You are still "Level 1" but will very quickly get enough point to have those privileges which, I believe, come with Level 2.

If these pictures or videos are on the web elsewhere, you can paste the URLs to them albeit you may have to parse them.

I often use ImgBB to upload pictures and then paste the resultant URLs here.

Best way is to use a hosting site like Imgur of Flikr. Loads of others. Write your question or opinion and add the URL of the photo.

Advantage is that if you delete it from the hosting site, it will get deleted from GAG, too.

If the pic is for the initial question, and not a future reply, then he can just download the pic, then upload it to this site. Imgur is good for follow up pics for replies, although I've never been successful doing it on a mobile device. It's very easy using a computer.

@OatmealMuffin I know some people want to delete the pic or vid at some point. I don't think you can delete one once it is uploaded.

No, they hardly let you delete anything on this site. So if that's your goal, your method would work the best. But when using imgur, I don't want the entire imgur page to come up, so I just right click on the image, and get the image address. Now you can post the clean image just like it's your initial image. But regardless of what browser you use on your mobile device, that "image address" option just isn't there.
