What do you do with obsolete electronic devices?

I was moving some of my stuff our and i have some DVD player, old speakers/sound systems, TV, Microphones, etc. Some of them were given to me long ago and i haven't used them so they're like brand new but unused. If i have to sell it, ill give it a shot but if no ones buying it, i want a back up plan other than just throwing it.

Donate. Many large cities have groups that accept used computers and fix them up for people who have none. Also, large cities often have municipal organizations that accept used electronic devices and make the usable equipment available to others.

if they're worth, and someone will buy it on socials... I've tried that

if not, I just donate it to people that are still using "obsolete" tech

DVD's for example... they're still a thing around here

I keep using it until it no longer works. Why should I dispose of something simply because there's a newer version of it?

There can be big money for that stuff if it is high quality.

Not sure if the economy here is good enough for collectors. Most people here focus on basic needs

some I still have around here and some i take to the dump or give away. Some i am still using.
