Lastnight I was talking to my boyfriend on FaceTime and heard two vibrations go off in the backround. I asked him who text him at 10:30 at night and he said Amazon texted him? Does Amazon send text messages or notifications?

Yes, Amazon sends text messages, typically to let you know tracking info on a package delivery. Be careful, though, because Amazon is one of the most scammed providers. If the text is asking you for personal info, don't answer it... it is almost always a scam, phishing for your data.

Yes, you can activate text notifications for your packages. They inform you on every step it takes. Even the time makes sense when it was a Distribution center of some sort.

Also adds from amazon seem to have no specific timeframe.

All in all it is reasonable I think.
