The LG C1 it's 4k and it has an OLED screen and its amazing.
Don't go for 8k because there's bearly any content in 8k and you'll most likely be wasting your money. 4k is already very expensive and there's not that much content our int 4k.
The lg c1 oled helps upscale the 1080p and it looks great in 4k. Even if you get an 8k TV that is good you'll only be upscale the 4k and you won't be watching much in 8k expect for maybe porn videos that are in 8k.
Most of the content you'll watch is in 1080p or 4k. So a 4k TV is a great option. It's going to take a decade before we start seeing movies and TV shows in 8k and the 8k content won't look much different from 4k content because the technology just isn't there yet.
I think oled screens are the best with the perfect blacks and organic lighting instead of the back lights with the led screens.
