Do you judge folks based on the number of followers they have?

Instagram if you're older. Tiktok, if you're younger. Facebook, if you're really old. They say the average instagram user has 100 followers. Does this mean that there's something wrong with you if you have less than that. I looked at a 27 year old's profile, and honestly, I thought there was something wrong with him cause he only had 250 followers, whereas I have around 600, and I'm a bit of a loner, but met a lot of people in my life. I also have a lot of ghost followers. When it comes to people with lots of followers, I tend to find these people to be artificial, insincere, and not genuine, particularly those with over 3k. So I am also biased against those with too many followers. I've also met some influencers 500k-3mil and those guys/females are usually very low quality people

How many of those people can you actually call and they'd come running to help you if need arises?
At most 5-10 if you're loved enough. Else maybe just a couple. That is the actual circle of people around us which one should be worried or concerned about.
This follower count hysteria ain't the real thing. And it's as dumb to judge people by the count of their followers. 5 years from now you'll not even remember about it. Just my penny for thought.

I pay no attention. I am happy when someone likes something I wrote enough to follow me, but I don't pay much attention to that either.
