How do you know if someone in IG blocked you or restrict you?

Im a little confused. There is this fan group that I believe the account owner blocked me. For some reason her acount name I can't find it anymore in the "search" IG account. Yesterday I could find it automatically but today I can't find it even if I write the name of the account, I I no longer see the account. Does that mean this person blocked me?

When you're blocked on Instagram, you are no longer able to interact with the person who blocked you. You will not see their profile in search, and you will not see their posts or Stories in your feed. You will still be able to tag the account, but it won't show up in their activity feed.

If it’s gone they probably deleted it or changed the name, I had someone unfollow me but I could still find them even blocked I just couldn’t send a message or open the profile

That doesn’t always mean that they’ve blocked you. They could have changed their username. Only way for you to know is by looking up their username through a different account, and if they still don’t show up in the search bar, then they’ve changed their name or deleted their account.

Maybe create another account and see if you are actually blocked or not. They could have changed their username or even deleted the account
