Not exactly I'd say.
I mean that shows how much lonely that person is and needs someone really bad in their lives.No, unless they are video game NPCs and the "chat" is just dialog boxes for the game's quests or something. AIs are annoying to talk to, I can't even stand it when I call a company and their AI answers the phone instead of an actual person.
Sad that this will be the future for many dysfunctional people.
