Why do I not see ads?

I have several streaming services, Amazon, Hulu, Netflix, etc. and I have the low-cost plans with ads. On one of my computers, I don't get any ads when watching these services, none. One all my other computers and phones I get all the ads, tons of them.

Why would I not be getting ads on that one computer?

I have ad block, but I have it on all my devices.

Hmm, that's really weird man. A few things that might be going on:

- Ad-blocking software - Even if you have the same ad blocker installed everywhere, sometimes they aren't configured the same way. Check the settings on that one computer.

- Browser extensions - Any other extensions that could be interfering like privacy tools, VPNs, etc. Try an "incognito" browser window to rule those out.

- Different IP address - If you use a VPN or your network setup is funky, that computer may appear to streaming services as a different location without ads.

- Streaming app/site issues - Could just be a glitch with how those services talk to that specific device for some reason.

I'd try rebooting the router, completely closing out of all apps and browsers, then launching a streaming app fresh without anything else running. See if ads pop up normally.

If not, might have to contact support and be like "yo why ain't I seeing ads?" Cuz free viewing with no ads is kinda sus! Let me know if changing things doesn't work.

I have never seen an ad using any online service since the early 2000s.

Do you buy the ad-free version of the services?

I don't buy anything. I just use ad blockers.
