Apparently, they do scam calls to record your voice when you answer. Using that sound, they can recreate your voice and call others that know you to scam them.

Such a dangerous time for trust and security.

Scammed, yes, by poser brokers I found on an online ad on my work laptop's Windows 11 OS "investing made easy with our AI. Try it". They didn't have any AI but I actually made profits there and it's money i'll never see again. I treat it as money, that i don't have and move on.

Should have known better how low Microsoft's standards have sunk and that there are many scammy brokers out there making a living stealing money off from people like myself. That's however the sweetness of learning from my own experiences and consequences and not asking for advise from losers like my parents, who you should ask advice for when you want to turn from wealthy to dirt broke and being skeleton starved.

I saw this story, but I didn't read it. Did she think he was really Brad Pitt or just a guy that looked like him. Because if she really thought he was Brad Pitt, then she kind of deserved to lose that money, don't you think? Don't get me wrong, everyone has been scammed by someone at least once. That's how you learn not to let it happen again. So, in that sense, I feel bad for her. But in what world would Brad Pitt cross the street to even spit on her? How can you feel bad for someone with that kind of stupidity? Someone was eventually taking that money from her if she had that kind of sense.

Yes! Companies like google and microsoft that use democrat style bill naming "your privacy is important to us" means what you do in privacy is important to us.

then they say "add our privacy addon for privacy" that has permission to send data to microsoft and google.
