Which console generational leap in graphics was bigger, NES to SNES or PS3 to PS4?

Can't figure out if it's just my perception playing tricks but 16 bit SNES gen games tend to immediately stick out to me as a clear night and day difference from NES. More so than the PS4 jump.

Both were not that big, but yeah, the technological leap from NES to SNES was bigger. It would be interesting to compare the newest NES games with the oldest SNES releases, though.
