Being completely honest, the app I made most friends from is Discord. yeah it's more gaming-oriented, but there are tens of thousands of communities to join-- you can use it for just about anything

My most frequent servers are English/Japanese study groups, Music/Movie/TV discussing, and general mutual friend groups! I chat with many different people there every day, & make new friends regularly I usually end up meeting in person eventually 🧡

I'm planning a trip to Japan in July, where I'll be meeting & hanging out with some of my study partners I met online through Discord 🍜 give it a try!

I'm really excited! It'll be my second trip actually. Bringing a lot more friends with me this time around, but I have a lot of people living in Japan to catch up with so I'll be all over the place!

I'm also really looking forward to eating the food every day again ❤️ it's sooo good-- I haven't had a single bad meal the first time 😋
