My boyfriend try to convince me I need to switch to apple because it's so much better but I feel kinda anxious about trying it because I have always used android
I have picked those two models because I know camera is good and price is fine with me.

No idea. I've always been an Android guy myself. I'm boycotting Google though, becauase they illegally prevented me from accessing my text messages, in an attempt to force me to link my Google profile to my texting app. They wanted me to put a picture of myself for ANYONE to see and have access to all my texts. So I would not recommend anything associated with Google. But I disagree with your boyfriend. Android is the way to go. This is reasonable grounds for a break-up 😂

Personally, i just prefer android for simplicity but iPhones tend to have better hardware. But the 3 button navigation on android just makes life so much easier.

the iphone will maybe have a slightly better battery life but it does have slower refresh rate while you're doing junk on it. i mean, i guess it depends what you're gonna be doing with it. they are both good phones. I like the camera better on the pixel but some people prefer the iphone. Tbh, I don't think you'd hate either one so it's just up to you and what you want to be using.
