Are tablets worth the price, or should I instead use the money to upgrade my phone?

Was considering buying a tablet, never owned one before. I what’s the benefits to having one? Would a new phone be a better choice?

I have one, but don't use it much, TBH. I prefer using Windows to Android, as I feel like I don't do anything productive on Android. So I end up using my laptop instead.

For me, the only use for a tablet is if you want to go online while you're watching TV, and you want something with a bigger screen. A tablet works better than a laptop if you're reclining or lying down.

I guess if you get an LTE tablet, you could just use that to make VoIP calls, so you might not even need a phone. But yeah, not super practical to lug around.

Depends. If you just want it to watch shit on a bigger screen, then yes. But if you want it to work like a phone or laptop - then no.

Well think of it this way, your phone is just really a miniature tablet that can also text and do calls.
Personally I would love an iPad but an iPhone would be so much cooler.

A tablet is just a bigger phone unless you want something for gaming or something like graphic design
