No, I have mixed feelings about it. It is a powerful tool that is maybe too accessible to anyone.

*Make it easier for governments to manipulate/lie to its citizens (e. g. make fake videos to support propaganda)
*Make it harder for Historians to figure out reality because of edited sources (e. g. edited images by Google Eraser)
*Deep fake porn
*Make it easier to fake evidence to criminal court
*Make it easier for people who have low thinking ability to reproduce, by outsourcing thinking
*Make it easier to create a digital copy of someone against their wishes (trained on their texts, emails, comments etc)
*Make it easier to run businesses without actual people, leading to less jobs

—Positives—
*Necessitate become better at discerning what is real / not real
*Help determine shape of proteins
*Help discover math theorems with practical applications
*May help get rid of multiple choice questions (maybe have AI read essay response)
