HDTV’s are still great to use in 2026 & a lot of them are out lasting the latest technology. My HDTV’s are still going strong, knock on wood.
With your HDTV make sure you have a good working remote to go with it & fresh batteries as well.

  A light up remote is a great feature & I’m going to need a new remote soon as well. Some of the buttons are starting to stick.

  It is good, man. It sat in my dad's bedroom for a very long time, but I gave him my RCA HDTV LCD that I had for many years. That was an LCD screen, but this one is better than the RCA I used to have. even though it's still an older model. The one I have right now has LED and it got 1080p right out of the box. The RCA I had a long time ago had 720p as its native resolution, so this one is better overall.

  Future & present technology is a wonderful thing however unless you have a good set of batteries you have expensive paperweights. In the future hopefully the VR users don’t end up cross-eyed.
