I would prefer to have to turn it ON if I want to use it, not to have to turn it OFF when I don't want to use it, because I mostly don't want to use it.

The fact that it defaults to an on condition now is grossly inconvenient, and it degrades the site.

As far as I can see, I have to do it twice, once when I press the Ask button, and again when I add details. Presumably every time. Honestly, it feels like I'm being treated like a child.

Nah, I discovered GAG has provided an off button for the AI Blend-O-Matic question mangler. That's fine. I can click a slider button to disable the Artificial Stupidity.
