I personally prefer cloud storage and emailing since a Pendrive is a bit risky. Malware and all the unwanted things may just seep into the system. Hence, no Pendrive.

The internet is dirt cheap in India, so it all works out for me.

I haven't used Facebook in like a year, and even when I did, it was only for job hunting and looking at the occasional Facebook Dating personal ad. I was never a fan of Facebook, but I seem to have this subconscious feeling that Facebook has been dead for a while now. Like as we left it behind in the 2010s and was abandoned January 1st, 2020.

Is it just me, because I've never really used it? Or do you also feel like Facebook is a pre-COVID kinda thing and that no one really cares about it anymore?

I used to prefer Gmail earlier. But at the moment, due to Samsung+Microsoft services integration, I use Outlook the most, along with OneDrive and all of the other services by Microsoft.

The best thing I like about OneDrive is, I don't need my laptop with me whenever I am going somewhere. I have Office apps in my smartphone which are a literal clone of their PC counterparts.

With OneDrive I am able to access the files stored in my documents folder and other essential folders, and with some tweaks in settings, and folder management, I am able to access the Downloads folder also. Thus no need to have a laptop with me, if it is just for office work only. I cannot do that with Google Drive.

Sure, Drive is also providing a PC app for this feature, but OneDrive comes preinstalled and well, I don't need to look anywhere else, in some special software. The OneDrive folder is there in This PC interface. That is helpful by a lot.

I've been in touch with this person for a while (about a year), but their phone number isn't attached to their iMessage account, only their email account.

They gave me their phone number, and we were exchanging plain text messages for a while, until they reached out to me over iMessage. We communicated over iMessage from then on, until we had a... kind of falling out of sorts. It wasn't really that we had a disagreement, it was more like we were just in different places (geographically) and pumped the brakes on things. We each said that if the opportunity arose to reconnect in person, we would, but that the online correspondence would basically stop.

This happened a few weeks ago and we've basically been no contact. Giving each other space was definitely in order.

In any event, I wanted to wish this person a happy Thanksgiving, so I prepared the message and selected her email, so the message would send over iMessage. My phone defaulted to her phone number and sent a green bubble.

I'm just wondering if that's the default when someone's phone number isn't tied to an iMessage account, or if I should just assume I've been blocked and move on?

I like black. But it's too common.

I have been permanently banned a long time ago for being an edgy troll that happened to use slurs and dark memes. Well, IP address changed, history and cookies have been cleared MONTHS later; I made a new account, deleted the same one, created a new one, deleted it week/month after week/month or two; THEN something happened as I was reposting a part of a screenshot onto r/AsABlackMan...

then I made a point calling out someone who compared "islam lover westerners" to "Nazism supporters", and Reddit banned me from their website permanently for a comment that I can't find. I didn't even realize what I said was hateful.

Anyway, I submitted my ban appeal about six or seven times over the last five days and THEY STILL DIDN'T RESPOND. I guess Reddit doesn't care about me. I lied about being Jewish and offended in one of my appeals so that they can unban me.
