Do you trust electric cars?

You're clueless, kiddo.
The first diesel and petrol cars killed people, and exploded on occasion too. In fact car engine fires even today aren't a rarity. But it was just a matter of time before engines got made safer and more efficient for common use.
Battery technology is having to catch up real fast and even quicker than standards back then had to.
As for that boating company. It was too poor to afford the insurance, but other boating companies are not.
If they cause problems sue them :D
Wow, there are some really dumb people on this site. They make it sound like this is YOUR fault. lol
Chevy had to recall tons of electric cars for the same reason. And cellphones also catch fire.
no they all do this. They are dangerous and need to be banned. We want diesel cars.
I think some plans to ban gas and diesel cars completely are political delusions with current state of battery technology.
until we use anti matter technology we will never have free energy and will be reliant on fossil fuels. Thats what alien spacecraft use.
this is not sarcasm. This is what free energy is. How do you think aliens get here? with lots of energy.
Wait- you object to electric cars on the grounds of them being dangerous, and your solution is the single most dangerous form of energy production the human imagination has ever devised? Are... are you complaining about electric cars because they don't kill ENOUGH people?

When Global CO2 from man-made emissions plus Permafrost Melt hits about 2500PPM in a few hundred years, nobody is going to be to blame except this generation.
One way or another, we need to stop burning all carbon-based fuels IMMEDIATELY.
@Pterodon it doesn't exist. it was the new ice age in the 70s then they changed their mind.
@Pterodon BS. There was ONE widely published scientific paper calling for a cooling period, and it was quickly discredited a few years later. Global Warming was Scientifically predicted back when the first Coal Fired Internal Combustion engines were invented. The scientists then told everyone it would not be safe to run a world economy on Coal or Oil indefinitely.
You’re not going to stop it. The earth has experience climate change before we were ever here and you no defense for that fact. Didn’t you learn nothing ever stays the same? There will be extinctions just like in the past but there will also be new evolutions just like in the past. It isn’t the auto that’s the problem it’s coal fired power plants. You idiots killed the nuclear energy movement in the 70’s that’s forced us to rely on coal so it’s your own fault you’re afraid
@Pterodon what about the documentaries about the new ice age? global warming does not exist. we need more fossil fuels and no nuclear energy.
All cars are explosion risks.
1 spark in the wrong place and a gasoline or deasel powered vehicle will catch fire and explode.
As for using more fossil fuels, thats because the electric grid is powered by fossil fuels, if the grid were solar and hydroelectric dam powered, that issue would be gone.
Fossil fuels will run out, so we are going to switch from it regardless of public opinion.
I really wanted the electric car to be a success but I am beginning to think it is a dry hole;. Elon Musk may think so as well because he has not redesigned the Tesla for 2023. They really do create a hazard when they catch fire.
I only trust electric cars to catch on fire.
Yeah that's a bitch if you got an electric car and need to take the ferry. FYI petrol cars can catch fire too.
electric cars blow up for no reason and burn for days and the fires can melt metal
Nothing blows up for no reason, and petrolium based fires also burn for days.
@TheSpaceGnome Sure, but apparently they have a way of putting them out.
@TheSpaceGnome no these cars blow up randomly. Which is why they are banned in many places.
it takes lots of equipment and can take days.
@Asker Again, nothing explodes randomly, and cleaning up fires on petrol spills takes longer than just days.
@AngryCarl2 Everything has a way to be cleaned up.
Either way its moot, fossil fuels will run out, they are going to be traded in for solar, hydroelectric, wind, and batteries regardless of anyone's opinions, even ethonol has a timer on it, not because it will run out, but because that corn will be needed for food as the population rises.
@TheSpaceGnome they will never run out. They are infinite and replenish themself rapidly. They lie to create a scarcity mindset. They are the second most abundant liquid on earth after water. And gas cars do not blow up for no reason. electric cars do its called thermal runaway. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5r-yN8SugWM
Damn that was brutal! I hope nobody died. Sticking to my petrol car for now.
You sound like those people that use to complain about seat belts, when they were invented. Or when they started to ban drinking and driving.
No...
