Do you trust them so much that you would fly on an electric passenger plane? I mean a real one. ๐๐ Or are electric planes for turkeys?

An electric aircraft won't be long-distance like current airliners because the battery weight makes it unfeasible. Electric aircraft will be short-range, short-duration and likely mostly propeller-driven.
I don't believe they would be inherently more dangerous than current aircraft and may be safer. And I am speaking from experience because I am an avionics systems engineer who works with jet engines.
Jet fuel likes to burn too though.
Yes, jet fuel burns... and, in a way, that's a good thing.
That's because the airplane becomes lighter as fuel is burned.
In an electric aircraft (*), the weight doesn't change because the batteries are still there.
(*) There are solar-powered aircraft but these were demonstration aircraft and nothing commercial.
For instance, the Solar Challenger developed by Paul MacCready and the Solar Impulse which was the first solar-powered aircraft to circumnavigate the world WITHOUT STOPPING.

"In the wee hours of July 26, 2016, Solar Impulse 2 landed in Abu Dhabi to eager crowds and cameras. After 14 months of travel and 550 hours in the air, the plane had accomplished what many had deemed impossible: traveling 25,000 miles around the worldโover four continents, two oceans and three seasโwithout a drop of liquid fuel. The sun's vibrant rays supplied the craft's only power."

That must have been hell holding it that long. ๐๐ ๐คฃ

Electric vehicles are a ticking time bomb waiting to happen & itโs like sending a shark to supervise children in a swimming pool, oh hell no.
Thanks for the MHOโs!

Electric vehicles have their uses. But they're not a green alternative. The batteries are toxic beyond belief and they're charged by a grid still running on coal, oil, and gas.
They do, however, have enormous amounts of torque and immediate power to the wheels cause there's no transmission to worry about.
with current technologies, an e-plane isn't possible.
The weight of the batteries is too high, while supplying too little energy.
We need better batteries or more energy efficient plane engines.
Very little. If an electric plane were produced by Airbus and certified by the FAA and EASA, I'd fly on it. Boeing probably also.
Just remember, the Boeing 737 Max were certified too, and then they started to crash.
Biden would shit himself if Air Force One was electric. lol
He wouldn't get on. Probably because he fell down the steps. Must have been those Martinis. ๐๐คฃ

Those steps are tricky.
maybe if i knew how to fly it i would, but i wouldn't trust someone else flying it
Sounds like a disaster waiting to happen.
I would not keep one in my garage.
You can if you have fire insurance to the max.
I see what you did there.
Not much more than regular cars.
i 100% don't trust them
not one bit and wouldn't have one
I don't.
