So nobody really knows me here but I am sooooo authentic about who I am. I think before using GAG I was very private about who I was in real life. The community here on GAG has really pushed me to be more myself around everybody because people here accept me for who I am. And for that I’m glad. It’s given me the confidence to embrace my true self around people.

That’s cool. We still are very segregated in real life. So to interact with so many others, even if some are faking, it still helps.

We are showing how big of dicks we are in the absence of social consequences. It’s not our “true selves,” it’s just that we are socialized by peer feedback and being anonymous bypasses this which allows some of us to be super selfish little shits without real consequences.


It also bypasses empathy because it’s easier to not see the other posters as human.
