I'm both. I am a very "outdoorsy" person. i was a wildland firefighter for over a decade, meaning I basically was out in the wild every summer about 80% of the time. Sleeping outside, working outside, doing everything in the wilderness. I also like to backpack into the wilderness in my spare time, enjoy rock climbing, hiking, scuba diving, sailing, surfing, swimming, and many other outdoor sports and activities such as soccer/futbol, tennis, rowing, and simply enjoy being in nature.
On the other hand, I can also be a homebody. I like to cook at home, I do a lot of studying online and reading at home. I also have a lot of projects that require electricity, such as when I am sewing on my sewing machine, or building something using power tools. I prefer having sex in a "soft" environment like my big, soft, bed, with lots of clean linens and puffy down duvet (as opposed to sex in the wild, where there always seem to be poky twigs, sand, dirt, bugs, etc) and quick access to a shower and other hygienic accoutrements. I enjoy having a clean and private environment for massage, BDSM play, and other intimate activities. It is also nice to have protection from the elements when playing a game or relaxing with friends.
TLDR; there are benefits to both, and I like a balance of enjoy the full variety of what life has to offer, but I'm probably more outdoorsy than most other people.
Honestly? Im more an indoors person. I lived my whole life in the countryside. I grew up exploring woodlands and rambling or hiking and had to go caravanning with my parents so when presented with countryside in another part of the country all I see is trees, hills, grass and fields. I see it looking out the window. Im surrounded by it. The appeal of exploring it has all but been lost on me. That said, nature takes on an almost romantic feel when you walk in the rain and can see raindrops on the leaves and flowers.
Indoors all the way! With the pandemic going on I have barely been out and about and I absolutely enjoyed staying at home.. cleaned the whole house and organised everything now it feels so cozy I don’t wanna leave it 😅 even when the weather is nice i’d still rather be home doing something..
Both! I love staying in and cuddling and gaming and cooking and binging... BUT the second I hit the outdoors I seem like a completely different person. My bf’s pretty convinced I’m a mythological creature
