I'm in Canada and the biker nod is very common here. The biker nod thing tends to be a pretty universal thing from what I have always heard. I don't ride, but my dad does and he knows several people who have ridden in different countries and continents, and they have said the biker nod seems to be pretty universal, no matter where they were.
I think part of it is that bike riding is seen as a bit of a fraternity that crosses borders and social circles. For instance, even if one rider is a sport bike guy and the other guy is riding a vintage chopper - and even though they hang in different groups and tend to not socialize with each other (generally tending to stick to being around similar bike owners) - they still nod to each other as a sign of respect, because they all have to deal with the same crap out on the roads. A lot of car drivers either have contempt for motorcyclists or they are completely oblivious to them being on the road, which can be extremely dangerous and it affects ALL bike riders. So I think it's sort of a nod towards acknowledging, "Hey, we all deal with the same stuff out here. Be safe." It's the same with truck drivers all over the world too, because they deal with their own set of issues as well.
But nah! Female bike riders aren't unattractive at all. Some guys even find it hot, so I wouldn't worry about it too much. 😊

Here in USA, and in California, bikers have the custom (not everyone participates) of putting a hand out in greeting. You can wave, give "the gun", peace sign (sometimes pointed down at the road or on the side like a "low five"), low five hand slap side style, to name a few.
Women who are properly outfitted in full gear do not look very feminine/form fitting. It's not a turn off and I'd rather a person be safe than trying to look sexy and risking a bad injury if in an accident. Of course it is more of a turn on to wear more revealing clothes, but that's not safe.
I'm a woman and I've always considered myself like this. If I have a hobby or way of life, I automatically assume there will be a guy that will find we attractive knowing I am the way I am.
So whether I'm a biker woman or a goth or a trendy/hipster whatever. I assume someone will think I'm hot and wanna ask me out.
😊
So yea...
They do tend to look sexy, ummm, well more like protected.

I recently sold my car and now ride my bike 24/7
Yes, we use the classic left greeting hand here.
No, biker women are not unattractive. Even in more manly or in gender neutral outfits.
Of course a fit woman in a tight leather biker gear with fun helmet ears or a ponytail etc looks hotter but a lot of guys actually don't like posers, people without safety gear.
Have fun and ride safeYes to me because I don´t like motor cicyling alltogether. I don´t care about the talk that it´s too masculine. That´s just talk for me it´s something I think is dangerous and I´m not into that.
So I´d say that a biker woman wouldn´t be compatible with me because I would never join her meeting with other bikers.I don't find them unattractive.
Though I haven't seen Japanese bike gear so I can't really compare it to European.
And as for greetings... I guess it depends on location. In cities generally not as most people are kind of lost in their thoughts. But in mountains on touristic trails people generally greet each other.I like biking girls. I see nothing masculine in them. They actually have an extra appeal.
Hereabouts (Thailand) we have only few ''real'' bikes.
They split into:
- overaged retirees who don't know their age (mostly Harleys, Gold Wings)
- wealthy parent's spoilt kids (anything, as long as it's 'big' and looks expensive)
- bikers
There's little 'solidarity' here, but a friendly hand signal does happen every now and then. The nod thing really only happens between Harley riders here in the US. Sometimes riders on dual sport bikes will nod because they are rare to see. My personal take is that biker chics that ride cruisers like Harleys and Indians are not what i am attracted too, even less so when they are passengers. Women geared up and riding adventure bikes and dial sports i am absolutely attracted too. Sportbikes get mixed reaction from me.
I love motorcycles so honestly dating a girl who was also into them would be great
Physically... she is either attractive or she isn't.
I'm not attracted to the lifestyle and habits of biker women so I'd not find her attractive because she is part of the motorcycle lifestyle and community.Riding is a tough hobby and yes bikers in my country as well help each other and wave at each other.
A woman doesn't get unattractive if she is a biker that's just a hobby and a good one at that. I love traveling as well but I am more of a car person.- u
Harley Davidson outlaw biker women are the most wildest women on the face of the earth. Yeah theyāre friendly but a little bit too friendly
I consider them generally classy and uneducated, but maybe I haven't met enough of them yet.
They run the spectrum, some great looking, some not so much.
A lot of bikers here in the US nod, use left hand, I try to respond, but usually in heavy traffic.I think itās weird how people think women who ride motorcycles are unattractive or a turn off. Like what? Stop being sexist! Plus, I donāt know if people nod each other when riding a motorcycle or electric scooter because I donāt ride either.
In the USA biker women are loved and respected
No I give almost everyone a fair chance (there are some factors like do I see me with this person and stuff) and yes I saw that they nod when they think the other person has a cool bike
If you wear a full leather suit, guys will LOVE that... what's your suit look like?
No, they're not unattractive!
And yes, we nod.I'd date a biker chick
They tend to have deep voices, tall , and tattoos , so no
