Would you rather travel 100 years forward or back in time and why?

It would definitely be back in time because I'd want to experience the beauty of that era knowing where I have been and where I'm going I only want to do it once depending on what it is. I love this question because I'm very kind of quiet the person that I see and feel a lot of things I'm an empath and I believe that we already all know our future.
And as we are talking to people the things that you learn from them by the things that they do not say is a beautiful thing in a lot of different ways because it is the future
Also talking to a complete stranger will bring to a higher level of clarity the words that they use are like a trigger you are one of those people with each one of your questions it has a different meaning to each person in a roundabout way.
It's just like right now what I tried to say and what I did say it's two different things
And I wish I knew how to say what I was trying to say so you could understand it but at the moment I can't think of a way to do that
And this is going to bug me all day LOL because I really wanted you to here or try to understand what I was trying to say anyway I will think about it

Back, primarily due to human population growth.

Additionally, knowledge of future technology and being able to predict events in the past would be a huge advantage, where 100 years in the future I’d just be some backwards Neanderthal. Think about if someone came to our time from either 100 years in the past or future, which person would be better equipped to have a positive experience?

I’d get rich quickly with my knowledge, and enjoy all the best parts of the past. I would also do what I could to help humanity avoid major disasters.

I'm tempted to say 100 years back but I wouldn't want to be living as a half black and half white person during that time. So I would go forward to 100 years. It would be interesting to see how technology evolves at that point and/or if there is still a future for Earth

Pretty much everything is known about 100 years back, and many good things were not there like internet or mobile or molecular fussion, I would want to go 100 years forward into the future, could be some interesting things then
There Isa possibly that earth might have turned to a apocalyptic wasteland after either future war
Or the asteroids that nasa believes has really high hit percentages in thr years 2036 and 2050 I guess

If it had to be 100 years I would choose backwards. I'd rather it be more than 100 years backwards though because 100 would mean 1921 and I would have to experience the depression.
Morals and society today are terrible and getting worse over time so that is why I wouldn't choose forward.

back to maybe have a better outcome for present society which in turn would greatly impact the future. Hopefully for the better. Even though seeing what the future would be like in 100 years is fascinating. sometimes doing what's better isn't always what's fun.

I can only hope for a malfunction of the time machine that transports me.
Forward in time looks better: at least I can laugh at the presently young people and tell them: ''I told you so''.

100 years back. Because we'd be in the Roaring 20s. That would be a blast! *I recognize the fact that I'm white, and this period of time could be a darker experience if that were not the case.

Exactly a hundred years would put you in the Roaring Twenties. Just before the Great Depression. I doubt if anyone living today would like it there. Even though the past would be of more interest to me.
I have already seen 64 of the last hundred and would happily do those times again!
A hundred years in the future. We may not exist as we know it!

Future 4 sure. there's no technology in the past. According to science theory, if time travel will ever be possible, its a one way trip only to the future.

I was told by mu middle school teacher that travelling with the speed of light around the world in one direction and then travelling the opposite direction at the same speed for 10 years, you would theoretically be hundreds of years in the future.

lets see that would be twenty years before the war if I went back in time and changing anything would alter this reality. However going forward in time can only make reality of the future but it would undo any would have been stuff. I think I will stay where I am thank you for asking though... someone else can have my ticket.

There were a lot of bad things that happened 100 years ago, such as the 2 world wars, the great depression, the industrial revolution, the Cold War and several other trying eras. I'd rather move forwards than backwards

If I could prepare ahead of time, I'd go back 100 years. I know I could adjust to the past, but nobody can say whether the future will be heavenly or hell or how easy it will be to fit in.
