Italy vs Spain... which country between the two do you appreciate more and why?

I have never been to either of them. I slightly prioritize Italy. I'm especially a big fan of ancient Roman culture and Italian foods. But I think I should learn much more about Spain; I think I'm very ignorant about Spanish history and culture. I'm sure I would appreciate Spain more if I wasn't so ignorant about it.

Most of my knowledge of Spain comes very indirectly from Spanish conquistadors and the settling of the Americas and the Spanish influence, especially in South America. I don't have a very strong background in Spanish history with regard to the history of European and Western culture.

Ahh, don't do this to me I love both 😅 I liked Spain since I was a kid, but I'll have to say Italy because I'm in love with it. I love the language, culture, people, literally everything.
