OK. I'd be at Noosa in a flash.

It's perfection to me. It is far enough up the Australian East coast to get the equatorial current which means that even at 3 am it will be bath water temperature. If I liked surfing there are good waves on the headlands.

But it is not far enough towards the equator to get crocodiles, portugese-man-of-war jelly fish and sea snakes. While Great Whites are occasionally seen out to sea they seldom come close to the beach.

So it is at the perfect point of being able to enjoy warm ocean water and not having to worry about if you will get out of the water alive.

Great cafes and fine dining. The scenery in the hinterland is stupendous.

Yeah Noosa is a Queensland beach. To put in context, I am a complete baby in terms of ocean swimming. My apt swimming pool is 28 C but is far too cold for me. The Sunshine coast fails my bath water test but could be fine for you.

There are signs for sharks, crocs and marine stingers if they are present at beaches, so it is not as if it is unknown. Always good practice to ask locals and tourist centers I think. There are 100's of kilometers of shark netting and stinger netting in place as well. South of Gladstone is no problem.

It is the sea snakes I don't like because I am phobic about all snakes. I didn't enjoy Fiji beaches because sea snakes are every where. I'm a floundering baby swimmer so I swim for a short distance than stand up. So I was paranoid of standing on one. They're non aggressive and have poor venom delivery system. Still between the sea snakes and the coral sand I decided to stick to the resort pool with an all you can drink swim up bar. Had to get my moneys worth on that anyway. Hawaii has sea snakes too. I think it is only the Bahamas that don't, because the little buggers would have to swim there way through the roaring forties to get there.

Spock goes on trial and we learn why Spock did what he did... and then we learn that the Talosians are so powerful that even the trial was an illusion.
