New York for sure. I’m scared of Texans, lmfao. I do love Austin, though. 100+ heat in the summer though, I am OUT. I have some sports rivalries with New Yorkers that would make things annoying at times, but overall, we aren’t that different from another. And the weather is about the same as where I’m from, so that wouldn’t be much adjustment.

Where? There's a huge difference between Austin and Midland, between New York City and upstate.
I lived in Dallas for many years, had a great group of friends there. Live music and theater in Dallas are excellent. Texas state politics are insanely stupid.
I would pick Dallas or Austin over many places, but New York City is close to the top of my list.
I'm from upstate NY and I "lived" in San Antonio for about 7 months.
I choose NY. I love winter and all the 4 seasons. San Antonio is beautiful and military friendly, but I can NOT do the heat... & their Chinese Food sucks.

I would rather live in Texas. i have been there a few times and besides the hot summer found it to be nice.
New York even though it’s cold and expensive, lol.
Texas if I had a cool job. Otherwise New York.
The answer to this is extremely easy. RED trumps BLUE
Neither one! I'd rather take Alaska.
Texas, no question.
