Anyone have suggestions of what to do while visiting Chicago?

A minor thing, but: be sure to get an Italian beef while you're there. For some reason, it's a food that never made out of Chicago, and I miss it deeply down here.

Protip: it's a MESSY sandwich, so be prepared with napkins. Leaning forward before you bite into it will let you avoid the worst of it, but the flavor WILL distract you.

Ride the El, go to a Cubs or White Sox baseball game (if summer), visit the Aquarium, and go to the top of the Willis Tower (if you have the guts, check out the glass floor on its observation deck).

Chicago is a great city but depending on what time of the year you're planning to go it can be extremely cold. I recommend packing warm clothes.
