Hawaii. I always found Pacific Islands interesting

I've been to Maui, Lanai and Kauai. Hawaii is interesting, but expensive. I personally think the Caribbean islands are better, but as far as the Pacific goes, Hawaii is definitely an exception, because they have everything. If could recommend only one place in the Pacific, it would be Hawaii. Though Hawaii is the only place I've been to in the Pacific, but in terms of geography and history, it's probably the most interesting, if you exclude New Zealand.

I'd love to visit French Polynesia, New Caledonia and Palau some day

@KostasKouvalis Yeah I was thinking of Hawaii too because it has more of everything compared to the smaller islands in the Pacific, but the more remote ones like Fiji or Vanuatu have always intrigued me a lot. Just that besides being pretty expensive it's also so far away lol

I'm interested in the Caribbean especially Lesser Antilles like Curacao or Guadeloupe too. They have a similar allure but much closer to home

Plus I like their local culture and history

It really is, though some parts of Maui and Oahu are too commercialized and don't want tourists now. Each island is so different.

I don't care much for Fiji, though you can find cheap deals to Fiji, if you're really interested. Vanuatu might be cool, especially for the tribes, but it's not high on my list, and if I ever go I'll most likely pair it with another island.

I've been to 10 islands in the Caribbean, and I think Curacao was the most interest and had the most variety in terms of attractions. The people weren't too friendly, but definitely worth a visit.

Guadeloupe is also on my bucketlist. I've been wanting to visit the French Caribbean for a while, and next time I definitely want to visit a French island. I'd love to visit all the French islands in the Caribbean, but I'd love to visit Guadeloupe and Martinique most, but they're so expensive and difficult to get to from California. St. Bart's is also cool but ridiculously expensive, but it can be easily visited on a day trip from St. Martin. St. Martin is usually cheap and well connected. I've yet to visit one of the French islands, so that's my next goal for the Caribbean. I personally prefer the European islands. The soveirgn islands are also interesting, but I got tired of being harassed and hustled by locals. The only ones I would consider visiting right now are St. Kitts and Nevis, but I'd rather visit the French islands first. Most of the other ones are dangerous and have a too many scammers. And Antigua is full of black nationalists. The European islands are definitely the best

@KostasKouvalis yes actually Jamaica and Dominican Republic are very interesting too but I heard there's a problem with violence against tourists in those 2 countries

DR was on my bucketlist for a long time, but I lost respect for the place after reading the kind of shit they do to tourists. And I haven't met one Dominican man who wasn't arrogant.
I genuinely considered Jamaica at one point, but I read the crime and tourist harassment/scamming is even worse than in the DR. I travel to explore, relax and have fun. I don't want to be constantly looking over my shoulders and I also don't appreciate being treated like a sucker. The issue is, you can't win with those bastards.
It's always the most interesting places, that have the shittiest people.
