What country would you like to live in if you could?

I want to live in South Korea if I could because of my family. Other than that I am happy living in Canada. Sometimes i imagine myself living in London. I wonder how it would like. I lived in Paris a year and a half. People are very very bad. It’s a good place to visit but living there is no no.

It being corrupt is not such a bad things because every body even random people can benefit from it. I benefited from it being corrupt a multiple time when I was in school because my father was friends with the husband of a woman who worked very high in positon in "the rectorat" a very high school ruling (I don't really know how to explain but basically they're the one controlling everything in the school and i you're friends with them you can get to change class when you want, be wit who you want, also scold teacher or fire them, etc...). That's practicable. They can also make you enter any school you want (so long as they're free) and you get the "high ground" with teacher they know not to fuck with you.
One time a teacher was nasty with me insulting me in front of the whole class , I told my father he called his friends and the teacher got a big scolding, the next time i had class with him he couldn't look at my face XD, never bothered me ever again.

Too when you work in town hall you can eat at restaurant for free. It's not legal but everyone do it an nobody give a shit.

The supervisor at my last job was so corrupt, because a lot of people who worked there were friends with him and he always gave them special treatment. One girl got moved from maintenance to MY position without an interview and got the maintenance pay which is higher then ours.
Another guy kept getting complaints about him and he moved him to maintenance which actually pays more because his dad was the fire chief and friends with him.

But to me he was so unfair and a hypocrite and always singled me out and he ended up firing me. I HATED that guy! I've actually been unemployed since December

Corruption is absolutely everywhere, high or low level everywhere, if there's corruption on high level there's corruption on low level. That's more of a mentality than anything in France rules are meant to be broken if they're stupid.
We can't really complain about high level corruption if we do the same on low level because if we were the one on high level we would be the same as them.
This isn't even considered as corruption in France because absolutely everything work this ways here impossible to get a job or an internship if you aren't friend with the person or if you don't know someone friends with the boss.

I thought it was easy to find job in America? This suck, it also happen to me, when I know or my parents know the person it's very cool but if not the boss always take us for their slave because we aren't friends with them.

That's what pissed me off. I was being scolded and singled out even though they did the same exact stuff or used to do it before they got promoted. And I hate hypocrites. My favorite co-worker turned on me after getting promoted and she was being a hypocrite.

He never even told me I was being fired or for what. He's such an idiot though. He didn't even recognize that I was wearing the company shirt🤣
I didn't have any problems before his dumb ass was put in charge of us.

Yeah, my work place was very toxic. And yeah, everyone basically only looks after themselves even if it means kicking others down.

He really is. He didn't know how much our camping costs either. And he blocked a campsite that someone reserved than WE had to deal with the customers. I don't know how he became a supervisor.

He also singled me our for using profanity, even though everyone uses it including him. And when I asked him who snitched on me, he said he can't tell me, but then he yelled at two women who snitched on him to the head honcho! He did other stuff too. He was such a hypocrite and didn't like me very much. I hated that he only picked on people weaker than him. I can tell he was a bully at school. And there was a photo of all the Rangers and he was the only one who didn't smile and looked angry.

I can't vouch for French, but I'm not denying it. But Polish people DEFINITELY swear A LOT! They showed a Polish movie on TV last year, and I don't think I've ever heard so many swear words😂
My mom scolds me when I swear, but she swears herself then denies it. I counted almost 20 Polish swear words one time within 2 minutes😂 I told her I'm gonna record her next time😂
Her parents were exceptions because they didn't swear or drink, and Polish people usually do both😂

@alice55 Yeah, I think it's crazy how in the U. S. they censor movies and songs even. I don't like listening to the radio anymore, because every station now censors songs, even ones that didn't before. I heard one station censor out the lyrics about drugs and drug dealers to a Nickelback song. It ruined the whole song 'cuz I had to remember what they were singing and the song made no sense. People have gotten too sensitive and I think people who censor art are crazy! But it's funny how they cut that part, but left the part about sex and being a player.

@alice55 I somehow missed your reply to this. Stupid indeed. I was watching a movie last night and they censored "hole" in asshole and "God" in "God damn", but they didn't censor "rape" and "bitch". And they ruined some of the best moments by censoring. The FCC is stupid and makes no sense.

Going back to the other stuff, I think it's bullshit how in the U. S. if you work in customer service, people can abuse you and you're not allowed to defend yourself, because if you do will happened what happened to me. This country is so stupid and annoying.
But yeah, nepotism is great when it favors YOU ^_^ That's why I was very disappointed in my co-worker, but surely if I was in your class, you would have gotten me the same privileges ;)

Hua Hin is the nicest mix for me , the " dark side " of Pattaya holds no interest , too many fat arse Farangs from the UK complaining about everything , plus I have no need for such bars. I did live a very healthy 6 months there some years ago though , and I have a holiday Condo in Bang Saray Sattiup , sad , no Ferry from here any more , its a prick of a drive , I won't do it , too dangerous and stressful , Big Bus if I need to go..
Bang Saray Condo is cute , I can just go gym , pool , eat by the beach , and get around on a bike , before going back to HH , where I have a little house , like in Australia we call Terrace house ( joined basically ) 500m to beach. All my international sport , and 100m to the gym / pool.

And yeah, food prices are crazy. Only Asian restaurants and some Mexican are affordable.
We paid $70 for 2 pizzas and some chicken nuggets once. For that price, you can have a family meal at a nice restaurant. Fast food is no longer affordable.

But the US is still good to visit as a tourist, though it's expensive
