Nudist Beach Question?

Has anyone been to a nudist beach? Is there any non written rules? I am planning to go on a trip in Europe in August, and the woman I am going with really wants to?

That’s awesome… I tried in Europe too. After the path and at the beach entry there was a funny sign that said nude beach to the left and swimsuits to the right. I laughed.

So we went to the nude side and it was very chill and natural. I felt it was just like any other beach but this allowed nudity. Some were almost nude…. i noticed a dude in a thong and a woman only topless and the rest were fully nude …. Same activities as any other beach ….. some kept to themselves, groups having beach picnics, people in the water, people stopping to talk to each other, people walking the beach…. Nothing sexual about it!

Ya I have heard that from a lot of people. The Woman I am going with doesn't want to go for a sexual reason, more for an experience.

Yeah I have, not sure what you mean by rules though. A lot is basic respect for other people. Basic etiquette, no camera, carry a towel, no staring, don’t get too close to others, especially family groups, plenty sun cream, also an area may be topless close to a nudist beach, never assume just because you can see boobs it’s a nudist beach, there are boundaries to beaches.

Unwritten rule number 1: Don't be a creep. If you follow that one there's not much need to list out any other rules.

Don't stare

Don't touch yourself

Don't crowd others (if there's lots of open space don't set up right next to someone else's towel, etc)

Don't bring a camera (and if you can't leave your phone alone, cover the camera with tape so people don't assume you're taking photos)

In the rare occasion you get an involuntary erection, just roll over, put your bag in your lap, or swim further out into the water until it goes down. As long as you don't flaunt it and you're taking steps to not flaunt it, no one is going to judge you.

Bring plenty of sunblock with strong enough SPF and remember to reapply it regularly. Bring towels and other beach necessities. Don't stare or gawk. Don't be creepy to others. If you get hard, most of the time people won't mind but if you're able to, don a towel or lay on your belly until it's gone. Aside from that, have fun and enjoy your trip.
