Me: I want to explore and learn. Museums, historical places, new cuisines, etc

Generally speaking I want to explore where I am visiting , learn what I can of the culture and history and people , combined with having some downtime and some fun. So really a combination. I have actually come back from holiday and felt like I’ve needed another holiday to recoup 😆


Some people I know spend thousands on visiting another country and literally site by the pool all day then drink and fill themselves with food at night and then come home … that to me is just a complete waste of time and money but each to their own.

I like to bed rot in different states and countries. If I want to go and explore, I'll go with friends since they'll force me out of bed. But being in a nice cozy bed with a nice beautiful view of the Swiss alps or Italy is always nice. I'm mostly there for TLC and to try new foods.

I won't go to a country that's always loud, chaotic and never rests. I get to see plenty of that in the states.

I love historic sites and learning about the place in visiting. Resorts are too boring. I always look for a unique Airbnb off the beaten path and eat at local Mom and Pop restaurants and exploring
